Back in March, Messhof Games announced that their odd-ball fighting game, Nidhogg 2 would be coming to the Switch. But, there was a large lack of any information following the announcement. That is, until recently where developers Messhof Games announced that the game will be coming sooner than most probably thought.
Due to a lack of information, this came as a surprise, some might have even forgotten about the game altogether. For those who don’t know what this is, let me explain. Nidhogg is a combat flash game from 2014 that spawned a sequel in 2017.
Nidhogg 2 built on what made the game unique and swapped the style from stick figures to something with more depth. It also graced us with a customization, leading to more to do. All in all, the end goal is the same, reach the end of your way before your opponent reaches theirs. You can battle another player or play against an AI. It can even support up to eight players in a tournament style.
Nidhogg 2 will be released to the Nintendo Switch on November 22.
